High Road
The High Road is the Road from Luskan south to Waterdeep, traveling through Neverwinter. Confusingly, some maps show the High Road as being only the stretch South of Neverwinter, and some the North stretch.
From Luskan the road follows the coastline and passes along Neverwinter Woods. After Leilon it passes the Mere of Dead Men and the Sword Mountains. Thornhold is on the south side of the Mere of Dead Men. From there it’s only the final stretch through the rest of the Sword Mountains along the coastline to Waterdeep. The road to Daggerford is sometimes also considered to be the High Road, though after Daggerford, the quality of the road starts to decline rapidly and is usually known as the Trade Way.
