Shatyr Astari
Shatyr Astari has been looking for revenge for what was done to him for as long as he can remember (which admittedly isn’t very long). After many travels, relentless dreams sent by the Devil Kaelith have been leading him North, from Athkatla to Waterdeep and finally Leilon, where they finally seem to have stopped. Kaelith has been toying with Shatyr Astari a lot since arriving in Leilon. Surely there’ll be a reason. Strangely enough, Ilmater, Shatyr’s kind-hearted God, doesn’t seem to disapprove of Shatyr Astari’s presence in Leilon so far. What does that mean about the Devil’s intent?

Durok Reedstrider
With his Ranger training now complete, Durok Reedstrider can go where he pleases. He’s interested in the world outside his village, and Kryptgarden Forest as a whole, but he’s also one of its protectors. As the one watching the Mere of Dead Men, he’s concerned. It’s projecting more dark energy than ‘normal’, as far as such a thing can ever be normal. Moreover, Durok feels like traces are coming from Leilon itself. Are they connected? If so, what are those ‘Civilized City Folk’ doing over there? Whatever the case, Leilon might be safer place to start his investigation than the Mere… Even for a Half-Orc from Kryptgarden.

Cecil Wormborough Saint John ‘Nobby’ Nobbs
Cecil Wormborough Saint John ‘Nobby’ Nobbs, has been living in Leilon all his life. The man’s hardly 1.5 Meters tall, but somehow insists on being a Human, rather than a Halfling, with a signed document to prove it. After an early life on the streets, he’s found employment with Rorsta Anvilhand and the Leilon Harbour Guild, the unofficial authority in the western/harbour side of town. He does odd jobs for them and knows the city well. Despite, or, perhaps because of, his hideous appearance, people find him amusing company; a helpful trait for a city-scout. Rorsta Anvilhand is concerned about the wisps on Idol Island. They’ve always been there, appearing occasionally, but they’re more active now and scare the fishermen. She sent Nobby to investigate what’s going on with the collapse in the Mines of Leilon, on the other side of town. They might be somehow related, and either the Leilon Miner’s Guild, or the Council might know something she doesn’t. Not to mention, if the ore doesn’t flow, she can hardly send it to Neverwinter, can she?

Mira Kobayashi
Mira Kobayashi was found in the Leilon Forest as a baby and adopted by Barrold, the innkeeper of the Dusty Gnome Tavern. Mira has been a tavern girl all her life, but has always been curious about life outside the city, despite Barrold’s reservations, and loves quizzing interesting travellers. One such traveller, Hikaru Yoshida, taught her the basics of the ‘Way of the Fox’, when he saw Mira’s potential. He gave Mira the name ‘Kobayashi’ and was gone the next day. Mira has been honing her skills. With Hikaru gone, she likes sparring with Giffine Touchfire, her friend from the Knight’s Goblet, a Scout with the Lances of Leilon. But, she’s been pining for something more; a true adventure of her own. Barrold will have none of it, wanting to keep her close. Thus, for Mira, an adventure around Leilon is both a blessing and a curse. It’s an opportunity to finally indulge her fox-like curiosity, but… her very home is at stake.
