A sturdy leather-and-iron helmet fitted with a small lantern mount and reinforced crown plating.
While wearing the Mining Helmet:
- You have Advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws against effects that originate directly above you (such as falling rocks, collapsing ceilings, or similar overhead hazards), at the DM’s discretion.
- The helmet can provide light similar to a Torch.
The light can be covered or uncovered as a free object interaction on your turn.
If the helmet is struck by an overhead effect and you succeed on the saving throw, the helmet absorbs the brunt of the impact and shows visible dents or cracks, though it remains functional.
